Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts *
Preparation
    *If nuts are not desired, add one of the following: chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, white chocolate chips or toffee pieces. Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Melt margarine over low heat; watch so it does not burn. Remove from heat. In a large bowl, combine the margarine, sugar and eggs. Set aside.
