Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 qt. cukes, thinly sliced
4 large onions, thinly sliced
1 tsp. celery seed
4 tsp. mustard seed
2 tsp. turmeric
3 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
-
Wash cukes; do not peel.
Slice cukes and onions thinly. Place in large deep pan.
Add all remaining ingredients.
Mix well.
Bring to a boil, but do not boil.
Can hot.
Makes 7 to 8 pints.
