Texas Red Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 lb. stewing beef, cubed
1 c. chopped onion
1 green bell pepper
1 garlic clove
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
2 1/2 c. water
2 pickled jalapeno peppers
1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can pinto beans, drained
Preparation

Heat oil and brown beef cubes.
Add onion, bell pepper and garlic.
Fry them with beef for about 5 minutes.
Add all the remaining ingredients except beans and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until the meat is tender.
Add beans and simmer 30 minutes longer.
