Ingredients

6 eggs
1 lb. white sugar
1 lb. flour
2 tsp. anise seed or 1 tsp. liquid anise oil
Preparation

Beat eggs and sugar 1 hour until sugar is dissolved.
Use mixer now days.
Add flour and anise seed.
Drop by teaspoon on buttered pans far enough apart so as not to run together.
Let stand overnight.
Keep in cold place until you are ready to bake.
