Texas Tamale Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can tamales
    1 can chili without beans
    8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 large pkg. corn chips
    1 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    While warming chili, remove husks and discard liquid from tamales.
    Place a layer of tamales on bottom of casserole dish. Add a layer of onions, cheese and 1/3 of chili.
    Repeat layers and cover with corn chips and remainder of chili.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Serves 4.
