Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1 c. nuts
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 egg yolks
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over sugar and soda and let cool.
    Then add shortening, flour, baking powder, salt and egg yolks.
    Fold in whites and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
