Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
2/3 c. milk
2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Break chocolate into small pieces.
Add to milk in saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth. Add sugar and salt and stir until sugar is dissolved and mixture boils.
Cook slowly without stirring, until a small quantity dropped into cold water forms a soft ball (236\u00b0).
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla without stirring.
Cool to lukewarm (110\u00b0). Add peanut butter and beat until fairly thick.
Pour at once into greased pan.
Cool and cut into squares.
Makes about
1 1/4 pounds.
