Okra Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. finely chopped onions
1/2 c. Pet milk
1 large egg, slightly beaten
3 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. red pepper
2 c. sliced fresh okra
vegetable oil
salt
Preparation

Combine first 9 ingredients; sir in okra.
Pour oil to the depth of 2 inches in a Dutch oven.
Heat to 350\u00b0 and drop mixture by tablespoonfuls into oil, until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towel.
Sprinkle with salt.
Serve immediately.
