Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. Jonathan apples, sliced
1 c. sugar, divided into thirds
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. flour, divided
5 to 6 thin slices butter
Preparation

Peel, core and slice apples and sprinkle with lemon juice. Stir together 1/3 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and cinnamon and sprinkle over apples.
Stir together another 1/3 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon flour and sprinkle over bottom of 8-inch pie crust. Arrange apples on top.
Sprinkle last 1/3 cup sugar on apples and dot top with butter slices.
Arrange top crust.
Bake in preheated oven at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven to 350\u00b0 and continue baking until apples are tender when pierced with a fork, about 45 minutes.
