Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1 baked pie shell
 
1 c. sugar
1 qt. strawberries
1 c. water
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
whipped cream
Preparation
- 
                            Crush 1 cup berries thoroughly.
 
Add 1 cup water; bring to a boil.
Mix sugar and cornstarch with a little water; stir into the boiling berries.
Cook for 3 minutes, until clear.
Cool.
Place remaining berries in pie shell.
Pour lukewarm mixture over berries; place in refrigerator until cornstarch mixture sets. Before serving, cover with whipped cream.
