Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 c. raisins

Preparation

Cream shortening,
sugars,
eggs
and vanilla.\tCombine salt, soda and flour.
Add
dry
mixture\tto creamed mixture a little at a time.
Blend in oatmeal, nuts and raisins.
Divide dough into thirds and\tform
into
long
rolls.
Wrap rolls in waxed paper and chill or freeze.
