Bread Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large loaf sliced white sandwich bread
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    4 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1 (7 oz.) can crab and 2 cans shrimp or substitute 2 c. cooked chicken or turkey
    3 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Cut crusts from bread.
    Spread bread lightly with butter; cut into small cubes.
    Add onion and eggs; refrigerate overnight.
    Add the remaining ingredients in the morning and chill 3 to 4 hours. Garnish with cucumbers, tomatoes, etc.
