Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained (save juice)
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 (8 oz.) container whipped topping
    2 c. chopped, unpeeled apples
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 1/2 c. dry roasted ground peanuts (can be unsalted)
Preparation
    Mix juice, vinegar, sugar, egg and flour; boil until thick. Cool.
    When cool, add pineapple chunks, apples, marshmallows and peanuts.
    Fold in the whipped topping.
    Chill until served.
