Barbecued Black Beans And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cooked rice
2 (16 oz.) cans black beans
2 (14 oz.) cans Italian style stewed tomatoes
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies or less to taste
3/4 tsp. ground cumin
2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce or more to taste
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn, thawed (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Rinse and drain beans.
Combine with tomatoes, chilies, cumin, barbecue sauce and corn.
Simmer gently over low heat, about 10 minutes.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Ladle rice into deep bowls, then ladle black beans with sauce over top.
