Sweet Vidalia Onion Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. chopped Vidalia onions
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 stick butter or margarine
1/3 c. shortening
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 c. milk

Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour pan with Baker's Joy (two 9-inch round pans or one 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan).
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together in large bowl.
