Easy Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 c. cold water
    1 egg
    4 c. flour (may need more)
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water in large bowl.
    Scald milk; add sugar, salt and shortening.
    When shortening is melted, add cold water and egg.
    Remove from heat.
