Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. dates, chopped
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 can coconut
Preparation

Melt butter in frypan.
Beat egg with sugar and add to butter. Stir.
Add dates and cook for 5 minutes (stir).
Add nuts and 2 cups of Krispies and vanilla.
Mix well.
Chill.
Make into balls and roll in coconut.
Keep in refrigerator until serving.
