Country Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh green beans, trimmed
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped fully cooked ham
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. water
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine all ingredients.
    Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until beans are tender.
    Yield:
    4 servings.
