Candied Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 sweet potatoes
    1 stick margarine
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in jackets until tender.
    Peel potatoes and put in heavy skillet with melted margarine; add white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.
    Cook until it comes to a boil; boil about 15 minutes on low to medium heat.
    Put in a baking dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
