Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Prepare a single crust pie shell and cook until golden brown. Cook the first three ingredients in a double boiler until very thick and remove from heat.
    Add egg yolks, vanilla and butter, mix well.
    Cook one batch of pie filling and pour it into the cooked pie shell, cook a second batch and pour over the first batch.
    Top with meringue.
    Place under a broiler until meringue is golden. Chill before serving.
