Fruit Salad(Ambrosia) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large apples
    2 large oranges
    2 large bananas
    juice of 1 large lemon
Preparation
    Cut up fruit
    in
    large
    bowl.\tPour
    lemon
    juice over fruit. Add 1
    cup coconut.
    Dissolve 1 cup sugar and 3 tablespoons cornstarch in
    1
    cup water and boil 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and
    slowly add 1 beaten egg yolk; cook until thick. Fold in 1 beaten
    egg
    white\tand pour over fruit.
    Delicious served with pound cake.
