Microwave Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 3/4 c. chicken broth
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    2 1/2 lb. potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
    1 medium size onion, sliced thin
Preparation
    Melt butter in shallow 2-quart microwave-safe dish.
    Stir in flour until smooth.
    Gradually add broth until blended. Microwave, uncovered, on High for 4 to 4 1/2 minutes until thickened.
    Stir once.
    Stir in mayonnaise.
    Gently stir in potatoes and onion to coat.
    Cover with lid and microwave 16 to 18 minutes.
    Rotate dish 1/4 turn twice until potatoes in center are tender.
    Let stand 10 minutes to complete cooking.
    Makes 8 servings.
