Eggless Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sour milk
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Sift flour.
Measure and sift with baking powder, soda and spices.
Add alternately with milk to first mixture.
Beat thoroughly.
Pour into well oiled loaf pan. Bake in moderate oven (375\u00b0) for 45 to 50 minutes.
