Carrot Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. grated carrots
    1 c. grated potatoes
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. currants
Preparation
    Steam for 3 hours.
    Serve with hard sauce.
    Pudding may be reheated.
