Mam-Maw'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    flour
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and shortening together.
    Add eggs and beat well until thoroughly mixed.
    Add baking powder, water, vanilla and a pinch of salt.
    Add enough flour to roll out easily on a floured board.
    Cut into desired shapes and bake in a moderate 350\u00b0 oven until done.
