Cherry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    2 c. flour
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and butter.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Then add flour and vanilla.
    Pour batter into a jelly roll pan. With a knife, score batter into 24 squares.
    Place 1 tablespoon of pie filling into center of each square.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown (about 20 minutes).
    Cut again into squares.
