Chicken And Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1 c. chicken broth or stock
    1 c. onion
    1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 lb. chicken, cut up
    1 can mushrooms
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. brown rice
    1/4 to 1/2 c. almonds, sliced
    paprika
Preparation
    Combine water, sherry, onion, curry and salt.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add chicken pieces; simmer for 1 hour.
