Chicken Orange - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (2 to 3 lb.) broiler/roaster, cut up
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. shortening
1 (6 oz.) can defrosted orange juice (concentrate)
1 juice can water
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Combine salt, pepper and flour.
Shake chicken pieces in it. Brown chicken in shortening, then drain.
Combine orange juice, water, brown sugar, oregano and nutmeg.
Pour over chicken. Simmer about 1 1/2 hours.
Serve over rice.
