Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head lettuce
    2 grated carrots
    1 c. frozen uncooked peas
    1 large thinly sliced onion
    1 c. grated cheese
    6 strips fried bacon, crumbled
    1 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Use large clear bowl so layers show.
    Tear lettuce in pieces and layer in bottom of bowl.
    Layer remaining ingredients in order.
    Combine mayonnaise and sugar and spread over top of salad ingredients.
    Cover salad with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight before using.
