Fruit 'N' Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/2 c. Post Bran Flakes or Raisin Bran
    1/2 c. seedless raisins or chopped dried apricots
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
    Combine egg and milk; add flour mixture with shortening and mix only enough to dampen flour.
    Fold in cereal and raisins.
