Butterscotch Krispie Treats - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butterscotch pieces
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
    2 1/2 c. crisp rice cereal
Preparation
    Combine butterscotch pieces and butter in a 2-quart microwavable glass casserole.
    Cook, uncovered, 2 to 3 minutes at power level 7 or until melted.
    Stir in marshmallows.
    Cook, uncovered, 3 to 4 1/2 minutes at power level 6 or until marshmallows are softened.
    Stir twice.
    Blend until smooth.
    Stir rice cereal into marshmallow mixture.
    Press into buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish; cool and cut.
