Chili-Fix-In Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. chili fixin mix
2 lb. ground beef
2 large onions
3 c. kidney beans
3 c. English peas
3 c. carrots, diced
2 pt. stewed tomatoes
6 large potatoes, peeled and diced
2 pt. tomato juice
salt and pepper (as desired)

Preparation

In a large skillet, combine ground beef and 1 package of chili fixin mix.
Cook on medium heat until meat is brown; drain. Pour into a large soup pot; combine other ingredients.
Bring to a boil on medium heat for 1 hour; stir.
Reduce heat to low for approximately 1 hour and simmer.
