Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 c. quick oats
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 unbeaten eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cut butter into small pieces in a large mixing bowl.
Add oats and pour in boiling water.
Let stand for 20 minutes.
