Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium size green tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. corn meal
2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
Preparation

Cut tomatoes into 1/4-inch slices.
Season with salt and pepper; dredge in corn meal.
Heat bacon drippings in a heavy skillet.
Add tomatoes; fry slowly until browned, turning once.
