Squash Au Gratin - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 small yellow squash
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. grated cheese
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
paprika
1/4 c. onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. liquid from cooked squash
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. bread crumbs
Preparation

Cut up squash and onion; cook in small amount of water until tender.
Drain squash, but save liquid.
Melt the butter.
Add flour and gradually the milk and liquid from squash.
Cook until sauce is thick.
Add salt, 1/2 cup grated cheese, green pepper and squash.
Pour into buttered baking dish.
Top with remaining cheese and bread crumbs.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until brown.
