White Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 3/4 c. warm water
    2 2/3 c. warm water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    9 to 10 c. flour
Preparation
    Add together the yeast mixture, water, sugar, salt and shortening; add 5 cups flour to make dough pasty.
    Add enough of the remaining flour to make dough easy to handle.
    Knead until smooth and elastic.
    Cover; raise until double.
    Punch dough down and raise again.
    Make loaf and place seam down.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes (should sound hollow when done).
