"Guilt Free" Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    1 large green pepper
    2 small zucchini
    2 small or 1 large ripe tomato
    1/2 c. sweet red wine
    3 cloves chopped garlic
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. marjoram
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 bay leaf
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Chop first 3 ingredients into bite size pieces.
    Place in large, heavy pan, sprayed with cooking spray, and saute about 5 minutes.
    Add wine and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and add remaining ingredients.
    Let simmer until flavors meld (approximately 20 minutes).
    A pinch or 2 of sugar may be added, if too acidic.
    Serve over rotini or bow tie pasta.
    Sprinkle lightly with Parmesan cheese.
    Serves 4.
