Persimmon Spoon Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. persimmon pulp
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten well
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 qt. sweet milk
Preparation
    Mix beaten eggs with pulp. Add sugar. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add alternately to mixture with milk. Add 2 tablespoons melted butter. (The mix will be quite thin.) Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour in a 350\u00b0 oven in a large ovenproof bowl or casserole or until dark (like chocolate) and grainy, but not dry.
    You must stir every 15 minutes.
    Serve warm with whipped cream.
