Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Mix together the flour, baking soda and salt.
Cream together the butter and sugar.
Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing in well. Stir in the flour mixture and the pecans.
Chill the dough until it is cool enough to handle (30 minutes to an hour).
