Dessert Breads - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cakes yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk, scalded and cooled
    4 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar in lukewarm milk.
    Add 1 1/2 cups of flour. Beat until smooth.
    Cover and let rise in warm place, free from draft, until light, about 3/4 hour.
