Annie Whisler'S Chocolate And Vanilla Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. white sugar
    1 1/4 c. white Karo
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1 heaping c. chopped nuts
    4 sq. Baker's chocolate
    1 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Chocolate Caramels:
    Melt chocolate; add syrup and 1/2 pint cream.
    Cook 10 minutes and add remaining ingredients.
    Cook until soft ball stage on candy thermometer (255\u00b0).
