Orange Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. coriander
    1 tsp. freshly grated orange peel, packed
    4 beaten eggs
    3 c. grated carrots, moderately packed
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 (12 oz.) jar orange marmalade
Preparation
    Beat margarine until softened.
    Add sugar and beat until light.
    Stir together dry ingredients and add alternately with eggs to margarine-sugar mixture.
    Stir in orange peel, carrots and walnuts.
    Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch layer pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Heat and stir marmalade.
    Spread between layers and on top of cooled cake.
    Refrigerate before slicing.
