Tortellini Spinach Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 carrots, thinly sliced
    5 c. chicken broth
    8 oz. pkg. cheese filled tortellini pasta
    1/2 pkg. fresh spinach
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, combine onion, carrots and broth.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add tortellini, reduce heat and simmer 4 minutes. Meanwhile, clean, trim and coarsely chop spinach.
    Add spinach and simmer 4 to 5 minutes longer until carrots are tender-crisp.
    Add pepper to taste.
