Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large green peppers
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. dry bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. chopped onions
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut thin slice from stem of peppers. Remove all seeds and membranes.
    Wash inside and out.
    Heat 2 cups of water and 1 teaspoon salt to boiling.
    Add peppers and cook 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Mix remaining ingredients.
    Lightly stuff peppers and place in ungreased baking dish.
    Cover and bake 45 minutes, then uncover and bake 15 minutes.
