Ingredients

3/4 c. soft butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
red food coloring (100 drops)
green food coloring (55 drops)
black icing
1 tsp. sesame seeds
Preparation

In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Beat in egg and extract.
Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to creamed mixture.
Set aside 1 cup of dough.
Tint remaining dough with red dye, wrap with plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours.
Tint 1/3 c. reserved dough with green dye, wrap and chill.
Wrap remaining dough and chill.
