Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. flour
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1/2 stick oleo
    4 apples, peeled and cubed
    Cool Whip
    chopped nuts
    diced cherries
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour and pineapple.
    Cook until thick.
    Add oleo. Let cool.
    After cooling, add apples and pour into oblong dish. Cover with Cool Whip, nuts and cherries.
    Refrigerate.
