Beef 'N Tater Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. ketchup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 c. hot mashed potatoes
    1 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, ketchup, salt and pepper and pat into 8-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Remove from oven and drain fat.
    Combine mashed potatoes with 3/4 cup cheese and then spread over meat.
    Top with 1/4 cup cheese and bake for 20 minutes more.
