Butter Dips(Quick Bread) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
Melt butter in pan in oven and remove. (You may find you need additional butter.)
Stir dry ingredients together.
Add milk; stir.
Knead lightly.
Roll out 1/2-inch thick into an 8-inch square.
With floured knife, cut into strips 4 inches wide, then cut crosswise to make 18 sticks.
Dip sticks in butter; place in 2 rows in pan.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve hot.
Makes 18 Butter Dips.
