Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 (12 oz.) bag Kraft caramels
1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
1/2 c. butter or margarine
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix German chocolate cake according to directions on box. Pour 1/2 of cake mix into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch cake pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0, then cool.
Prepare 12 ounces Kraft caramels, 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk and 1/2 cup butter into saucepan and melt over slow heat.
Pour over cooled cake.
Sprinkle 6 ounces chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped pecans over caramel mixture on cake.
Then pour remaining batter and bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
