Meat Rice Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. rice (Minute rice)
1 egg, beaten slightly
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 lb. beef
2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
dash of pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
Preparation

Combine rice (right from the box) with the beef, egg, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 cup of tomato sauce; mix lightly.
Shape into balls; place in skillet.
Add sugar and
water to the remaining tomato sauce.
Pour sauce over meat balls in skillet.
Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes, basting occasionally.
